René de Jong travelled around the world for a year at the age of 18, having saved up the money through side jobs and then studied business at Nijenrode University (Netherlands) followed by a postgraduate in marketing. He founded “don Quijote” (In-country Spanish language courses) in 1986 and sold in 2005 (having arrived at 13.000 students annually). In 2004 René started the digital marketing agency Internet Advantage and sold it in 2015 (offices in Salamanca. Madrid and Utrecht / the Netherlands). René is now external advisor for a few companies, business angel and volunteer (mentor for start ups, position in juries and responsible for new memberships for Entrepreneurs organization Madrid). Friends, food, and wine keep him fine.
