Startup Olé, one of the most important events for entrepreneurs, will once again calculate and verify its carbon footprint thanks to Omawa Huella Ecológica and Oca Global, two entities specialized in sustainability. This collaboration will allow Startup Olé to continue advancing in its commitment to sustainability and reducing its environmental impact. Through these measurements, the event aims not only to minimize its carbon footprint but also to promote responsible practices among participating startups and companies, fostering an environment more aware of climate change and the environment.

In this edition, attendees will have the opportunity to contribute to the calculation of their own carbon footprint through a personalized calculator, accessible via a QR code that you have in this page and also will be available throughout the event.

Additionally, Omawa will be responsible for calculating all emissions derived from the organization and development of the event, ensuring that all factors influencing the overall carbon footprint are taken into account. The results obtained will then be verified by Oca Global, ensuring data accuracy and promoting transparency in the process.

Omawa Huella Ecológica specializes in measuring and advising companies and institutions on sustainability issues, while Oca Global is a company dedicated to verification and certification in multiple sectors, including environmental sustainability.

Both companies are organizing a round table titled “Innovation for Sustainability: Transforming the Business Future,” featuring sustainability managers from Atlético de Madrid, Octaviano Palomo, and Mantequerías Arias. This round table will take place on the 10th at 16:30.
